Abstract of Hans-Peter Bantleon
Implants are widely used for single tooth replacement. In contrast to permanent implants smaller temporary implants are placed in the hard palate for anchorage control. These temporary implants are useful in critical anchorage situations. The possibility to distalize, mesialize teeth, or increase the palatal width will be discussed clinically as well as the use of implants and bicortically placed screws which solve the problem of difficult anchorage situations.

Abstract of Michel Langlade
The Reciprocal Arch and Reciprocal Chin Cup were developed by Dr. Michael Langlade from France as a result of concerns he and his colleagues have experienced with patient cooperation, discomfort, and potential for injury that may result from standard headgear use.
The Reciprocal Arch appliance is worn 24 hours per day with Class II elastics, applying a reciprocal force to both arches. It may be removable or ligated to the upper arch. The Reciprocal Chin Cup is worn at home to protract the lower arch and increase the maxillary headgear force making the dental correction faster and easier.
