The study clubs are a small group of orthodontists with particular interest at a field or a technique of Orthodontic specialty. Study groups is a widely spread idea in countries with tradition in Orthodontics and their size vary from a 5-person classmate number to a larger organized group at a state level, like in U.S.A., with particular interests.
G.A.O.S.R. tries to bring together colleagues with particular interests and the Association made the first step in 2 fields, the initial proposal was successful by creating 2 study clubs who are already active the last years.
Since then, these groups become self regulated and self-sustained and have full autonomy. The place, time and main topic or topics of the meetings are scheduled each time from the participants under the Presidents responsibility for each study club.
